I don't and never have even bothered looking at the actual macrumors web site, so I don't really care how it looks. I just use the fourms, and at the time of this post are yet to be up dated. The current fourm is easy to use and is easy on the eyes. I have no quarms.

In the file menu, I now have an option (greyed out) for Transfer purchases from iPod...not sure what that means given you can't currently buy stuff direct from your iPod...and pretty sure it wasn't there in Itunes 6...sounds intriguing though!
Also - there a custom option for encoding rates from CD that takes you up to 320 kbps for AAC - can't remember that either in the previous version...

Why won't it update to 10.6.7? I am confused.
I assume it's a custom build for the new SB processors. Likely see an update within the next week to bring them all to the same build.

Correction, iPad 2 have been Jailbroken, Comex is working on getting untethred and it was fix on 4.3.1, but it was JBed long ago on 4.3
Yeah, this is you can make a movie file, pretend to interact with it, and then call it a jailbreak... but there sure are a lot of people who love to spend their time making videos of "exploits" rather than putting them to use and releasing a usable product for those waiting.

okay, i tried to create my own custom firmware with sn0wbreeze 2.5.1 but it doesnt give me any option to not install cydia. does anybody know how to not install cydia in a custom firmware?

Hi Macrumors,
I was wondering if it would be possible to make an "Alternate OS" thread for the tons of Android/Windows/whatever threads that pop up. Its annoying to come to mac rumors and find more Android threads then anything in the iPad section. A lot of these are nothing more than troll threads with masks on.
By creating an Alternate OS thread if people wanted to yap about Android/Windows/Etc they could go there and keep the other threads clear.

I understand now, I going to save my money and get a Canon 45 TS, I looked at different ways of doing this, purchasing a tilt adapter, and using PC6 lens on a shift adapter, time I spent all that money, for not great results I will have pent over half of what a canon will cost.

Like suggested before, I would definately put some kind of branding on the font page, because then anyone who visits the site shoud remember the name, whereas at the moment, they could visit the webpage from a link, click on a download button on the homepage, and have no idea who the company is.
Also it was a bit confusing the first time when I clicked on 'More Info' for 'Auto Delete' as I thought it just took me back to the home page, and then realised a few minuted later I had to scroll down to see it. I don't know what you could do to improve this, I just thought it would be something that could be thought about and maybe changed??

Exactly. The HP LP3065 out of the box is very bright, vibrant and not realistic to SWOP printing. But it is beautiful to look at in this state.
It calibrates down to SWOP really well.
Check this out:

Visit their report on the calibration of the monitor and see how well it does.
It's sad to see all those amazing colors disappear. But we keep a couple of profiles around -- One for Print, One for general daily use, One for web design to SRGB.

I ended up going in and dropping it off, but they'll ship it back to me. Some day.
Gotta say, the service is pretty good, apart from the thing where they didn't have a magic wand they could wave to Just Make It Better. While I was there, they were helping someone with one of the silver-looking powerbook G4s, and they covered some stuff under warranty for someone with a black macbook that was 67 days out of warranty.
And here's me with a notebook that's maybe four months old, boring.
